Here is some exciting news coming up from Nokia mobiles which will undoubtedly bring smiles on faces of Nokia enthusiasts. There are reports revealing that rapidly growing voice over IP (VoIP) service provider Skype is going to upgrade its applications integrated on Nokia smartphones empowered with Nokia Belle operating system. This means that Nokia phones for instance Nokia 700, 701, 603 and various more, which are enriched with Nokia Belle operating system will be upgraded with more features supported by Skype.
It is speculated that Nokia may upgrade its prevailing Symbian Anna mobile handsets with Belle operating system in the first quarter of 2012. From this announcement by Skype, it can be anticipated that Skype may come up with Belle update during this month. With enhancement of Skype application the users of Symbian Anna or Nokia Belle will be entitled with feature of free calling between two Skype services. It is also reported that the existing users of Symbian Anna operating system may upgrade their mobile handset with Skype applications by downloading Skype application v2.1.23 from nokia OVI store.
Besides this upgrade, it is also reported that Nokia Belle operating system has also been updated with few more upgradations which include improved performance of multitasking applications at an ease, widgets, notifications, lockscreen, new applications from Microsoft which include Exchange ActiveSync, Sharepoint, OneNote, PowerPoint Broadcaster and Lync. And last but not least near field communications which has been intensively introduced in Belle operating system which enables the user to share picture with other users, connection with other accessories and check in instantly.
