Subaru is bringing in what they are terming as the BRZ “Zero Car” or “Opening Car” that debuted at the Japan Rally Championship-2012, held on 28th -29th July. The car is a race sports car which has been customized for rally use. This BRZ “Zero Car is not a production edition of course. It comes with a number of new features like front chin spoiler, rear wings, white finished alloy wheels etc.
For the benefit of a few, a Zero car or an opening car is a vehicle which is used in rallying to open the road for the competing cars. The purpose of these cars is to warn the organization in case there is a problem on the stage and also so that the public is not surprised by the first car.
