Sony makes its Blu-ray systems portfolio stronger

Who doesn’t know Sony India? Well, Sony has worked really very hard to come up to the level that it enjoys now. And to make its blue-ray systems’ portfolio stronger in the country, it has welcomed 3 new additions, which comprise of Sony BDV E980, Sony BDV E880 and Sony BDP S380, out of which BDV E980 and BDV E880 are the terrific home theatre systems, where as BDP S380 is the individual Blu-ray player. Sony India played its cards intelligently and priced all three devices wisely. The BDV E880 will come with a price tag of Rs. 29,990 with 2 tallboy speakers. On the other hand, the BDV E980 will cost you Rs. 39,990 with 4 tallboy speakers. The Blu-ray player, BDP-S380 is priced just for Rs. 8,990 only.

 
All the three devices are exclusively made to play Blu-ray content over HDMI, whereas the in-built Wi-Fi transceiver can easily makes its way in to the video over the internet. These additions by Sony India are unique and exquisite in their own ways. Like Sony BDV E880 is a 5.1 inches Blu-ray player, which provides the user stunning cinema feel with wider and better surround sound. The 3D picture quality adds more appeal to the entire device. The newly developed wide and nice directional speakers further broaden the sweet spot. The device also supports USB playback and with the 2x HDMI inputs, it makes it easy for the user to develop the connection and then permit him or her to switch between AV devices with utmost ease.

 

The second home theatre system is the Sony BDV E980, which is also a 5.1 inches device, with superb 3D image realism and 3D surround sound. The Wi-Fi connection to the well known BRAVIA internet video makes it more appealing. The third addition by Sony India is BDP-S380 Blu-ray player, which keeps the ability and capacity to play full high definition Blu-ray disc movies. The gadget can also stream videos, music and movies from YouTube by connecting it to the internet.
