The latest Samsung baby to enter the Indian market is the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S Duos. Announced earlier this month, Galaxy S Duos can be purchased from two online retailers in India --- Saholic.com for Rs 16, 900 or from Snapdeal.com for Rs 17, 900.
The appealing dual-SIM smartphone landed in the nation accompanied by a list of very attractive features, which includes a 4-inch WVGA display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and a 1GHz processor. Besides that, it also packs 4GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA camera on the front. Samsung has also included 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0, aGPS, and FM radio with RDS in the name of connectivity provisions. But what really sets this smartphone apart is its Smart dual-SIM feature that allows users to simultaneously receive calls on both SIM cards. Now that it has finally stepped foot in the Indian market, Samsung Galaxy S Duos will be seen locking horns with HTC Desire V. And the factor that may really play in Samsung's favour is HTC Desire V's price tag of Rs 20, 950, which is a tad bit higher than Galaxy S Duos's price despite the similar features.
