All the tech lovers across the nation, Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the newest Galaxy kid in town. Yep, that's right. Samsung Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100) is now available for pre-order on Samsung's online store. Though there is no word yet about the MSRP price of the Note II, the ones awaiting the Note II will have to pay Rs 5, 000 to book it. Though this amount paid for pre-order is non-refundable, Samsung India's online store assures that the folks who book the smartphone in advance will receive a desktop dock worth Rs 2, 399, free of cost. The newest addition to the much loved Samsung's Galaxy Note family was first announced at IFA last month. Though it hasn't been officially launched in the country, but reports suggest that Samsung will launch the flagship device in its press event on September 27 in Hyderabad.

This successor to Samsung's first generation phablet (a hybrid of a smartphone and tablet) packs in quite impressive specs. To start with, Samsung Galaxy Note II will sport a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display that offers a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, and will be powered by a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6GHz. The smartphone boasts of a massive 2GB RAM and three storage options --- 16/ 32/ 64GB. Furthermore, Note II runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and also features an 8-megapixel snapper on the back and a 1.9-megapixel front camera. Even in the era after the verdict on the Apple v/s Samsung lawsuit came out, Samsung has been doing quite well. Not only did Samsung Galaxy Note was a huge success, Samsung's response to iPhone 5 was a major hit among tech lovers around the world. And with several amazing launches in its kitty, it looks like Samsung is more than just prepared to get back into the game.
