Motorola Mobiles is a well known mobile manufacturer across the globe. In India, Motorola Mobiles is counted amongst the top mobile makers and it has proved itself to be one. It has always delighted its consumers in offering high end smartphones and tablets that provide them with an ultimate mobile experience. It’s been quite some time now that Motorola launched its tablet, Motorola Xoom in the country. At the time of its launch, with the Wi-Fi 3G 32 GB version of Motorola Xoom, it came with a price tag of around Rs 33,000 and the only Wi-Fi version came for Rs 31,000.
But now, the company has reduced the prices of its well-appreciated Honeycomb tablet Xoom in the Indian Mobile Market. However, it still hasn’t been revealed how much price has been reduced, but speculations suggest that Motorola Xoom WiFi 32 GB only will for Rs 21,500, whereas the Wi-Fi 3G version will have a price tag of Rs 25,000 only. Well known online retailer, Flipkart is selling Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi 3G version for about Rs 26,500. When enquired about the 16 GB version, it appeared to be out of stock at the moment.
As compared to the earlier prices, the price reduction of Honeycomb Tablet Xoom sounds a great deal altogether. Also, whats more interesting is the announcement made by Motorola Mobiles recently, which was that Motorola Xoom tablet will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update anytime soon. Apart from the Android OS, Motorola Xoom comes with NVIDIA TEGRA 2 dual core processor running at the speed of 1 GHz accompanied with 10.1 inches of high definition full touch screen display, ULP GeForce GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 5 megapixel of rear camera and 2 megapixel of front snapper to make video calls and capture self portraits.
