The tech market is buzzing with the recent announcement made by Microsoft, the tech wizard. It has unveiled its tablet called ‘Surface’ that runs on Windows 8. The company is soon going to launch its two models on surface: Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro. The Intel version running on Windows 8 Pro model will reach you in about 90 days while the Surface with Windows RT will be released for general availability of Windows 8. For all the latest technology seekers, both of these are a collective package of smart features with fast access OS. Windows RT tablet having a 10.6 inch display, is quite handy; weighing about 676g. It relates to the surface via a magnetic connector that runs on both Intel and ARM chipsets with a pre-installed Microsoft Office. The 9.3mm thick body of the tab comes with a magnesium-coated casing. It has a configuration ability up to 32/64GB.
Microsoft has equipped the tablet with a full USB 2.0 port, microHD video and a built-in kickstand. It carries a 3mm thin cover which can be doubled for a multi-touch keyboard & a multi-touch trackpad. The Intel version of the surface, running on Windows 8 Pro will be about 14mm thick. It will have a special feature of perimeter venting to prevent the blockage of air vents that may occur during use or because of user’s hands.
Configurable up to 64/128GB, it will come with similar metal coating & similar accessories as the Surface running on RT. Both the versions are coming with two digitizers: for hand input and for digital ink input. The stylus pen comes in the box, with the Surface. As soon as the stylus ink is sensed by the screen, it stops recognizing the hand input & starts operating with the pen. Brimming with the latest trends, both the versions of Microsoft Surface are eagerly awaited. With a combo pack of vast memory and duo digitizer, it’s going to be a break-fire to find its launch.
