LG announces glasses-free DX2500 3D monitor

Taking a step ahead to enrich the users with advanced technology leading electric peripheral company LG has announced the launch of new 3D television LG DX2500 that will empower the user to view television programs without putting 3D glasses. The monitor of DX2500 is mounted on parallax barrier 3D and head tracking technology that ensures contents of screen to split the light in such a way that creates impact on eyes of different viewers. At present this variant of television is available only in Korea which also the home town of LG company but with this announcement it can be anticipated that by 2012 this television will hit the global shelves. The most popular model from LG that has been the choice of many techy individuals has been LG 32" Full HD LCD 32LK450 TV priced at Rs 24,999. Prior to this, LG had launched FPR 3 TV, that proved to be a huge hit for the company and with this announcement, we can expect one more remarkable product in market from LG.

 
The new DX2500 is enriched with in-built camera that tracks the direction and angle of the viewers eye and then adjust the effects of television in such a way that ensure best quality of 3D image on screen despite of sitting position. However, it is not yet sure how this technique will work while the group of persons will watch television programs at the same time. Although reports reveal that camera will determine the qualitative image only for the person sitting in front of television. The monitor is also enriched with ability of converting 2D to 3D effects for different contents. Embedded with all these features, it can be expected that LG DX2500 will set new dimensions and new experience of watching television with excitement of all 3D effects happening in front of their eyes. However as far as price of DX2500 3D television in India are concerned LG has not yet announced its prices for any of the market where this television will be launched.
