Renowned computer manufacturing company Hewlett-Packard (HP) has unveiled its first ultrabook HP Folio, powered by powerful battery offering the back up time of nine hours. With this, Folio also adorns solid state drive and a security chip that is helpful in protecting data stored in mail box and has drive from the effects of unavoidable virus attacks. Mounted with 13.3 inches diagonal high definition screen, HP Folio is assimilated with latest Intel core processor. It is embedded with solid state drive with storage capacity of 128 GB. HP Folio will be available in US market with price tag of US$ 900.
With launch of HP Folio HP also extended its range of ultraportable HP Notebook with HP Pavilion dm4 updated by latest beats audio technology developed by HP in joint alliance with Dr. Dre (producer and performing artist) also chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records and Jimmy Iovine, co-founder Beats. Other HP Notebook introduced by company are HP Envy 15, HP Envy 17 and HP Envy 17 3D. All these devices will be available for sale in US market from December 7, 2011.
The main objective of launching HP Folio is to fill the gap between personal and professional life of the user as it integrates design supporting consumers products with supportive safety measures and mobility required by the users. Folio is upgraded with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is a security chip that is mounted on the hard disk of the device. In designing HP Folio HP has mainly concentrated on minimizing the number of sundry devices like power adapters which the user has to carry with him while traveling, it also reduces the option of carrying other ports like Ethernet and others.
Other renowned products from HP are HP Notebook HP 430 (Core i3) Laptop, HP ProBook 442 OS Laptop, HP Notebook HP 430 Laptop, HP Notebook DV6 – 6155 TX Laptop and various others. Launch of HP Folio has come within a period of less than a month when company had announced that its personal system group that is dealing in personal computers and smartphones and tablets will constitute the part of the company. Prior to this company had speculated to evaluate various options for widening its business scope.
