Apple to launch two new 9.7 inches tablets this year

While Apple was only mulling to launch the iPad 3 cheaper than it cheapest iPad till date, the Apple iPad 2, there is another piece of information which could be more interesting. Unlike the two models mentioned above, Apple could be taking a middle way out with the two new 9.7 inches Apple tablets. One is expected to be the mid-range tablet and the other will be a rather high-end one, while in any case 9.7 inch display screen rules out any possibility of these two tablets being a possible iPad3. Although what makes the news this time is the two new 9.7” Apple’s tablet will be unveiled right in this month at a press meet.

However, if Brian Blair of Wedge Partners is to be believed, the much anticipated cheaper iPad3 is far from reality atleast not anytime soon. And to remind you once again, he is the same person who had a hunch that Apple mobiles will not be coming up with the Apple iPhone 5 which in fact was true. Apple instead came out with the latest highly successful Apple iPhone 4S with a better processor and a 8 MP camera despite the smaller display screen which was a let-down to some extent. But, the point here is could Brian Blair be right this time as well with Apple sticking to the 9.7” iPads instead of copying Samsung Galaxy Note tablet with a 7” tablet.

Apple’s demised CEO, Steve Jobs was the one who ruled out the possibility of an Apple’s 7” iPad though. However, if it could have been a reality, the price range of $249-$499 was definitely expected to beat the iPad 2, where the latter could have been offered with a reduced price in which case. Who knows, probably then, Apple iPad 2 would stand a better proposition at around $349, still making the proposed iPad 3 much cheaper. Whatever are the plans, Apple seems to be clear on one point, which is that Apple wants to go big in the iPad line-up similar to iPhones and that too Globally.
