Cashing in on the success of its Superfone series, Micromax added another hanset to its Ninja lineup. Following in the footsteps of its siblings, Ninja A50 and Ninja 2 A56, the third smartphone to join the family is intended for the ones looking to buy a smartphone that isn't too heavy on their pockets. This mid-range touchscreen handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS along with a Qualcomm 1GHz processor. Micromax Ninja 3 A57 sports a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen, which, by the way, is not as responsive as you might expect it to be. Other than that, this Android dual-SIM mobiles features a 3-megapixel camera with 4X zoom and also offers multi-shot and night modes. Oher features include GPS, Gravity sensor, Bluetooth, FM radio, microUSB, and of course, Bluetooth v2.1.

This touchscreen mobiles packs a 1400 mAH lithium-ion battery that promises the delivery of a talk time of up to 8 hours. The peculiar thing is that, unlike its siblings, there is no mention of the support for its voice assistant A.I.S.H.A, a feature that is believed to be similar to Apple's Siri. The company is offering the Ninja 3 A57 in two attractive colours, i.e. Midnight Black and Funky Yellow. It also comes along with two coloured interchangeable panels, that give the phone that extra oomph. Though this handset doesn't score big for its features, it is quite affordably priced at Rs 5000.
